This award is pretty self explanatory but it's becoming harder and harder to choose. The problem is that we know the developers pretty well now and the ones below always produce top notch games. They are the ones you can bank on to have all the features you want with first rate gameplay. So what we had to do was look at who had the most hits in the year and again, it took us a few days before the dust settled.
The Playman series continued to flourish in 2006 and the fresh ports of the RealArcade puzzle games ensured MrGoodliving had a great year.
They are still successfully churning out the casual and the branded games. Although lately they have branched out into video content so look out for more of this later this year
The iFone acquisition bore fruit with the launch of a few Sega titles including Sonic and Monopoly. It's been a solid year for them and you can expect a lot more from them soon?
The work rate of these guys is phenomenal. We've lost count of just how many games they released in 2006 and there was hardly a bad game amongst them. Can last year's winners make it two in a row?
Whether its games such as PornManager or heavily supporting advertised sponsored gaming Handy Games is always looking to push the boundaries.
The giant developer is starting to find its feet and adapting to the mobile market. It's also one of the few developers who actively encourage mobile gaming through their console titles and for that we applaud you.
