Costas Stephanidess Review
Another shoot em up from Akatora, very similar to others. I found it quite easy, but it was very enjoyable.
The best feature of this game is your ship. You can shoot upwards or sideways depending on the situation and the ship also has auto fire.
The plot is not that important to the game. Basically you have to fly through each level shooting any enemies that get in your way. Some of the levels are a bit mazey and you have to switch between the side guns and the front guns to complete the level. At the end of each level you have to face the boss and his cronies - don't be too scared, its not difficult. Overall I found the game very easy. It does have three difficulty levels, which makes the game play faster as you play on the harder levels.
The graphics are sharp and crisp, that is the case for both the background and the sprites. Dark Dawn does have decent sound and the game does flow smoothly. It is a very enjoyable game, even if it only lasts for 10 minutes.
If you are new to shoot em ups then this is probably a good introduction. An excellent game that is only marred by its lack of longevity.
