A Bluetooth game that will not suit Billy-no-mates.

Here's another multiplayer game from Mauj, this time its Bluetooth only. Beyond Speed Limits looks like a great game. The graphics are quite decent. The game is raced in overhead view and the cars are big and fill up a good portion of the screen. The colours are cool and the end graphics are also nice. There are 5 courses to play and you can even customise your vehicle.

The car auto-accelerates so you should only have to worry about the steering. Unfortunately controlling the car is very difficult. If you drive too near to the edge, then your car will come to a halt very quickly. When cornering around the outside of the track it seems extremely difficult to avoid crashing. Whatever defines the edge of the track to the program is very different to what you would expect from a visual perspective. On the inside corners you can drive all the way up to the red/white edging. Once you get your head around this you soon realise that you wished you had a little joystick to play. You need to be constantly adjusting your speed while also thinking about cornering. All in all it is a very difficult game and you will struggle to beat the computer.

However, this is supposed to be a Bluetooth game. It is good fun racing your friends although it is more of a Demolition Derby than Grand Prix. This is great fun as a two player game but not that great for one player
